Homemade Teriyaki Sauce
Throw away that bottle of teriyaki sauce in your refrigerator! Homemade Teriyaki Sauce is super easy to make and tasted better than anything in a bottle!

  • ½ cup low sodium Tamari (or soy sauce)
  • ¾ cup pineapple juice
  • 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
  • 5 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
  • 2 teaspoons grated garlic
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil.
  1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, add the Tamari, pineapple juice, vinegar, brown sugar, ginger, garlic and sesame oil. Whisk to combine well.
  2. Bring to a boil then reduce the heat to medium low. Continue to cook for 10 minutes stirring occasionally.
  3. Remove from heat to cool.
  4. Sauce will thicken as it cools.
