Salty, savory and a little sweet slices of deliciousness

  • 16 oz Thick cut bacon
  • ½ c brown sugar
  • ½ tsp granulated garlic
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp coriander
  • 1 tsp dry mustard
  • a couple of dashes of Cayenne pepper
  1. Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees
  2. Line a 12x17 baking pan with tin foil (for easier clean up)
  3. Place cookie drying racks in pan.
  4. Line racks with bacon.
  5. In a small bowl combine brown sugar, garlic, cumin, coriander, dry mustard and Cayenne.
  6. Sprinkle sugar mixture liberally over bacon.
  7. Bake for 20-22 minutes until bacon is cooked thoroughly.
  8. Remove from oven, pat bacon to remove excess grease and let sit for a few minuets to cool a set up.
Also great to bring to a party. I cut then in half so people can just grab and eat. Bacon Candy will be the first appetizer to disappear!
